Grayfeather Consulting was founded in January 2018 as a niche Organisational Development consultancy, focussing on assisting organisations to transform to meet the demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Since then the company has added an impressive list of clients to their customer base and they established a broad network of companies and consultants that specialise in niche areas of OD.
Covid-19 delayed their expansion plans in 2020, but when the market stabilises, Grayfeather plans to appoint 6 more employees to specialise in their different product offerings.

Amanda Jordaan has more than 22 years’ experience in the HR industry. Initially she worked as a training manager on large ERP systems implementations, but soon switched her attention to HR systems. She oversaw one of the earliest implementations of integrated Learner Management Systems in South Africa and subsequently assisted many organisations as a Consultant in this space. During this time Amanda worked for leading blue-chip companies in South Africa such as Discovery, Volkswagen, Edcon, Exxaro and Anglo American.
As the HR Learning systems grew into other HR processes, she started working in Organisation Design. She joined Dimension Data where she has worked in a senior global role overseeing many different projects and functions, including 2 years as the HR Director for Dimension Data’s Global Services business.
Amanda’s core capabilities include HR Systems, Learning Management, Learning Design, Organisational Design, New Age Recruitment Practices and Job Framework Development. In addition, she has developed solutions for EVP, Graduate Programmes, Mergers and Acquisitions, HR Metrics and Analytics and Talent Management.
Kim Filies holds a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology coupled with more than 20 year’s experience in the HR field across a wide variety of industries, including Wholesale & Retail, Government, Hospitality, Information Technology and Manufacturing.
Kim started out in Learning and Development where she developed deep expertise in the NQF and SETA industries. This was followed by a period of focussing on Organisational Development which included acting as Manpower Development Manager for nearly 5 years at GrandWest Casino.
After GrandWest, Kim gained wide experience about the HR Generalist field at SAB which gave her the grounding for a position as Group HR Executive for Grand Parade Investment, where she managed a team of 12 individuals to ensure the achievement of consistency across the group HR practices for the business.
Kim’s strong capabilities include HR Strategy Development, Organisational Development and Design, HR Frameworks, Tools and Methodologies, Industrial Relations, Talent Acquisition, Development and Management.
Kim is currently taking a sabbatical away from the business to pursue other interests and spend time wit her family.
